Welcome to another episode of Reckless A-Talk, our TTRPG interview show where we sit down with some of our favorite writers, players, GMs, and streamers to get to know a little bit more about what makes them who they are.

This week, we had the pleasure of talking to Ennie-nominated game designer voice actor and apparently professional playlist maker?? Samantha Leigh.

Sam has created an array of wonderful TTRPGs, ranging from the silly to the very serious. Her solo tarot game Anamnesis was their breakout hit, with playthroughs done by the folks of Friends of the Table and dear podcast friends over at Planet Arcana, and she has been on fire ever since. They are also well-known for their insightful TikTok indie TTRPG reviews and spotlights.

We cover collaboration and getting inspired by those around you, chasing what your brain is interested in, creating a TTRPG for a ballet??, and establishing perfection as the enemy. With, of course, the usual caveat of “and so much more.”
