Welcome to another episode of Reckless A-Talk, our TTRPG interview show where we sit down with some of our favorite writers, players, GMs, and streamers to get to know a little bit more about what makes them who they are.
This week we had the distinct pleasure of sitting down with today’s enthusiastic, knowledgeable and joy of a guest, Ester Ellis!
She is a wonderful and imaginative audio drama designer, producer, performer and writer, for projects including Station Blue, Whale Song, and The Goblet Wire. But she is also the lead editor for the ultra popular actual play podcast Dungeons and Daddies.
Ester and I talk about tons of things, including their really excellent personal and weird and scary audio dramas, how they got into audio design and editing Dungeons and Daddies, editing for bingers and week-by-week fans alike, setups and payoffs, editing workflow, giving and taking feedback, transitioning as a creator, and gobs more.
Enjoy!
