This week’s guest is Kendrick “Kendo” Smith (they/he), producer and storyteller at Babes in the Woods actual play podcast Tales Yet Told and sci-fi actual play livestream Prayers in the Static!

Kendo has won multiple awards for their game running skills just in the last year, including at the New Jersey Web Fest, and alongside their excellent cast and co-creators, makes some of the most thematic, thoughtful and fun stuff in the space.

After a few minutes of being confused about who, what and where we were, he and I sat down to talk about the power of listening and communication, nostalgia, the meaning of escapism, the magic of player agency and so, so much more.
